Since the establishment of the Macau Institute of Development and Quality, through close cooperation with government ministries and social groups, a total of more than 130 welding training courses have been offered, and about 1,500 qualified welding workers have been trained for Macau; various PLC and mechatronics training Lexing has held about 7 sessions and trained a total of about 150 qualified mechanical and electrical engineering technicians for Macao; there are 3 training courses for elevator maintenance personnel, and a total of about 90 qualified elevator maintenance personnel; training courses for fire officers have a total of 3 sessions were held to train 28 firefighters for the higher education institutions of the Macao Security Forces; 2 sessions of vehicle maintenance and inspection courses were held, and a total of about 50 vehicle maintenance and inspection personnel were trained. At the same time, as a technical support unit for Macao’s participation in the Mechatronics Project, a World Youth Skill Harmful, since 2007, a total of 7 mechatronics training sessions have been held, training 12 young mechatronics players in Macao, and they are among the regional and world-class players. The Mechatronics Youth Skills Competition has achieved a series of outstanding results, and won the Mechatronics Project Excellence Award in the 2011 and 2013 World Youth Skills Competition.

Welding Technology and Certification Courses

In line with the professional needs of local welding personnel in Macao and the sustainable development of the industry, we have trained trainees in different public and private institutions to use welding methods such as manual arc welding, gas shielded welding and tungsten argon arc welding. The welds produced by qualified trainees have passed the standard requirements. After the test, a Welder Qualification Certificate issued by an accredited international welding engineer will be issued.

Elevator Maintenance Personnel Training Course

Train Macao elevator maintenance practitioners to fully grasp the mechanical structure and electrical working principle of elevators, the use of various control components and safety devices, the procedures and techniques for safe elevator operation, the procedures and methods of daily maintenance, and common faults and emergencies. and accident judgment and handling methods, and introduce the Macao fire safety regulations related to elevators and the approval, acceptance and operation system guidelines for elevator equipment of the Bureau of Land, Public Works and Transport.    

Programmable logic controller system designer

<<Programmable Control System Designer>> is a national vocational qualification level 4 training course. Macau students who pass the training assessment can be issued a national vocational skills certification course issued by the Guangdong Vocational Technical Appraisal Guidance Center. Course content mainly includes:

• The overall design of PLC application system and the configuration design of PLC

• PLC module selection

• PLC programming and setup

• PLC peripheral equipment parameter setting and supporting program design
