　　The signing ceremony of the "Environmental Testing and Research Cooperation Agreement" was held on February 23 at the Duo Gong Hall of the Environmental Protection Bureau. Nearly 30 guests from various government departments and related institutions were invited to witness. The director of the Environmental Protection Bureau Zhang Shaoji, Zhao Wei, President of the University of Macau, and Tan Liwu, President of the Macau Institute of Development and Quality, held a simple and solemn tripartite signing ceremony.

　　The cooperation content of this agreement includes testing and research work on air quality, vehicle exhaust, noise control, water pollution, waste treatment, and environmental monitoring and auditing. The purpose is to formulate relevant standards and policies for air pollution control, noise control, water pollution control and waste disposal in the future, and to conduct scientific investigation and research in order to obtain the current situation data of various aspects of Macao for analysis.
