In order to continuously optimize the overall traffic situation in Macau, the Public Security Police Force and the Traffic Affairs Bureau have been closely cooperating and cooperating in traffic planning, various activities and engineering traffic arrangements, vehicle inspections, etc. on September 22 (Friday). The Bureau held an in-depth exchange meeting on the future scientific management of traffic and the upgrading of electronic law enforcement technology, and invited the Macau Institute of Development and Quality to participate in the discussion. The meeting proposed how to expand the method and quantity of traffic data collection to strengthen the inherent system and analysis model. Gradually evolve from a theoretical research project to a system with practical applications, which is based on a floating vehicle data system, adding two functions that can provide real-time traffic congestion road distribution and predict traffic flow, and connect the system to the security police The Department of Transportation of the Bureau realizes the purpose of information sharing, making good use of resources, dredging in advance and improving the efficiency of traffic management.

In addition, since the first-generation vehicle parking violation detection system has been in operation for nearly 7 years, it is planned to carry out the replacement work from next year. Through the introduction of new technologies, the investment in the number of front-end equipment will be reduced, and a single system multi-area detection will be realized. In this way, the detection range can be expanded, and the calculation method of the previous system can be strengthened to further enhance the effect of electronic law enforcement and improve the traffic problems caused by illegal parking of vehicles.
